February 27th

Lots of rain this week has not helped the trails. There is not enough snow for grooming, and the rocks will do a number on your sleds. The weather from previous storms had eroded the snow base back to bare ground in many places, and the above freezing temps have allowed much settling and melting of the new snow. When you do get out, watch out for downed trees from the wind storm, and report them to us if needed. We are sorry we can't give a better report, but this is obviously beyond our control.

Please be careful to stay on the MARKED TRAILS in the area of DeCato's Gravel pits between Chichester Road and Rte. 106 in Loudon. These are a vital link in our trail system, and the owners have indicated that violations will likely result in the closing of these trails.

The Trail shown on our map from Bear Hill Road in Loudon over to Pleasant Street in Chichester is not available for use at this time.

Please respect the landowners request and do not enter this area. It is presently gated and posted.

ATV’s & Dirt Bike riders are not permitted on snowmobile trails unless a green ATV sign is visible.  Our club has permission from private landowners for snowmobile use only.  Please respect the landowner’s property and do not jeopardize the trail by traveling where you are not welcome it could result in a trail closure for all.
